Vertical Blinds
Vertical blinds are a versatile, cost effective way to transform your windows or conservatory. With a wide array of fabric options vertical blinds offer a contemporary yet practical shading solution. Vertical blinds are a great way to control light flow into a room and create a great ambience. Verticals can be made to draw back from the middle like a pair of curtains, or to stack left or right, with cord operation from either side.
Stack Back
Stack back is the term we use to describe the coverage of slats or folds when the blind is raised or pulled back.
If your Roman blind is fitted into a window or door recess, and not on the outside of the recess, consideration needs to be given to the stack back. This can often effectively reduce the height of a door opening or reduce the natural light transmission from a small window.
If you have small windows where retaining maximum natural light is important during the day Wood weave Roman blinds are an excellent choice. Roman blinds are easily fitted on the outside of the window recess leaving the whole window area free from obstruction to allow maximum light transmission. If fitted above the recess the blinds stack back helps to create a larger window image.
Pinoleum Roof Blinds
Pinoleum fabric is manufactured from timber grown in sustainable managed forests. The fabric is available in a range of natural designs and tones as well as in a range of colours.
Pinoleum Roof blinds, are a rustic alternative to the Pleated roof blind. It acts as a Roman blind, but in the roof of your conservatory or sunroom. Pinoleum roof blinds are operated via a rod, or alternatively, electrics can be installed for ease of use. Pinoleum blinds look wonderful in a conservatory, when complemented with side blinds. These can be operated in various ways, as a standard Roman blind, with matching cord and a cord lock, or as a rolled blind.
Cleaning
Care should be taken when cleaning this product. The best way is with a Vacuum cleaner and soft brush end. Take care not to use a powerful suction vacuum cleaner, as damage to the fibres could result.
Health and Safety
Care must be taken with hanging cords regarding young children, and vulnerable persons, due to the danger of strangulation. Cord tidies and the shortening of cords are required. A health and safety warning tag is enclosed with each blind, for your instruction, and appropriate fixings to avoid danger of harm.
